you will need a payment gateway like paypal or google checkout or worldpay etc, you can get basic buy it now kinda buttons but you may need to know some server side scripting language or xml, if you set up shopping cart software when users go to the checkout it passes there purchases (items, prices customer name etc) over to your payment processor like paypal. go and lookup oscommerce, and the aforementioned google checkout with buttons you can just stick on your site. also look into joomla cms.

Dreamweaver alone won’t give you that. Dreamweaver is a just a screwdriver and a hammer and you’re trying to build a bicycle or better yet, a motorcycle.
Unless you plan to build everything from scratch, to get there you’ll need content managent system (CMS) which has paid membership module, plus hookups to payment systems.
